YouTube ad: Where Ideas Ignite
The challenge: Lucid was about to launch Lucidspark, a brand new digital whiteboarding software. They needed a video ad to establish the brand’s voice, land deals and partnerships, and showcase features and functionality.
The solution: You know that moment in a brainstorm when the ideas really start to flow? I used that as the blueprint for the ad. All the copy, design, editing, and motion captured that.
Fun fact: I animated a good chunk of this video.
The result: The ad was used in Lucid’s pitch to become one of Zoom’s flagship apps. To quote Lucid’s product marketing managers, “This video sealed the deal with the Zoom team.” From this initial video, we also created 6- and 15-second cuts.
